With cheap fuel, rental  cars and reasonably priced accommodation, the USA is a perfect place to rent a car and just take off to wherever you fancy and to be guaranteed to see plenty of colourful birds.  This talk visits mainly Florida and California and looks at birds from the Everglades National Park right up to the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
